Conversely, a Spanish judgment can be transmitted for enforcement in another State. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer of sentenced persons<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most relevant scenarios for foreign clients: a person sentenced in Spain may request to serve the sentence in their country of residence, and vice versa. This is a decision with specific requirements and deadlines, and with significant effects on the conditions of execution and the prison benefits applicable according to the State of enforcement. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How we act<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We analyze whether the judgment meets the recognition requirements, monitor grounds for refusal\u2014double criminality, fundamental rights, ne bis in idem\u2014and process or oppose the transmission as best suits the client.
