Mar\u00eda Barbancho represented Willem Johannes Jacobus Van der Merwe, a Dutch citizen and temporary CEO of one of the companies within the corporate structure, raising a jurisdictional conflict before the Audiencia Nacional to transfer the case to Germany, where the platform&#8217;s main headquarters were located.
